Adam and Ashley Barlow-Thompson

SoCe Leads was created by Adam and Ashley Barlow-Thompson.  Adam and Ashley are a clergy couple serving in the Great Plains Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church they have had the pleasure of learning Process Communication Model and Leading Out of Drama from Next Element, LCC in Newton, KS.  They have a young son and enjoy playing music together in their band (www.brutalbear.com). With neighbors Adam and Ashley co-founded SoCe Life, a nonprofit in Wichita that is participating in the Neighboring Movement.  Learn more at www.socelife.org.

Adam is a graduate of Southwestern College and Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary.  He served for 6 years as the Executive Pastor at Woodlawn UMC in Derby, KS and created a PCM based worship service called Swerve.  Adam is a certified trainer of Process Communication Model, Servants by Design, and Leading Out of Drama. In 2016 Adam left the local church to become a full time trainer/facilitator and to support the nonprofit SoCe Life (www.socelife.org) which he founded with Ashley and their neighbors.

 

 

 

Rev. Ashley Barlow-Thompson

Ashley is a graduate of North Central College in Naperville, Il and Garrett Evangelical Theological Seminary in Evanston, Il.  Ashley is an ordained Deacon in the United Methodist Church and serves as the Facilitator of Discipleship and Kids Discipleship Coordinator at College Hill UMC in Wichita, KS.  Ashley is a certified trainer of Process Communication Model and Servants by Design.  She is an Affiliate Faculty at Southwestern College Professional Studies and is the author of curriculum used in the Great Plains and across the United Methodist denomination.
